Bushman’s Cave is situated on the farm OUDE MUUR in the Northern Cederberg approximately 42km from Clanwilliam via the Nardousberg Pass. En-route visitors will enjoy a panoramic view of the first section of the Bulshoek Dam, a privately owned island as well as the beautiful rock formations that increase with beauty the closer you get to the Bushman’s Cave on the farm OUDE MUUR. Many improvements are in the process and previous visitors will be impressed with the changes that have taken place. Much more than you will expect.

Owners of 4x4 vehicle will enjoy the benefit of driving one or all three sections of the Bushman’s Cave 4x4 trail, as many times as they wish during the weekend or play in the dry riverbed of the Brandewyn River where interesting obstacles awaits participants. This well designed trail consists of two challenging mountain sections with viewpoints, the Roggeveld and Hantam Mountains in the far distance, to interesting sand sections where driver skills, correct tyre pressure and momentum will be the order of the day. Vehicles with low range will be able to drive all three sections of the Bushman’s Cave 4x4 Trail, while the 4x4 vehicles without low range will be limited to the dry riverbed of the Brandewyn River. The 4x4 activities will definitely satisfy the needs of any 4x4 enthusiasts irrespective if your vehicle is equipped with or without low range.
